One very wealthy man from the Middle East dishes out enough cash to buy not one Aston Martin One-77  but ten!! Each Aston costing $1.7 million each. He also had them shipped to the desert which set him back an astounding $23 million. As for the performance of this sedan, it boasts of a V12 7.3 liter engine that produces a 750hp from the super light monocoque shell, hitting a top speed of 220mph.

He is reportedly planning to give one to each member of his immediate family. I wonder if he would like to adopt me?

How “Sweet” is that?? Diddy purchased a $360000 Maybach for his son Justin Dior Combs, 16th Birthday!! The entire event was filmed by no other than MTV’s  reality show “My Super Sweet Sixteen”. Performances by rappers Fabolous, Lil’ Kim, and Jim Jones.

Of course the car comes with a driver, i think thats too much car for a 16 year old to handle!

Wrapped in a red ribbon, the Maybach  was presented to Justin at the end of the night. Diddy also gave his son a $10,000 check, which he promptly pledged to Wyclef Jean’s charity Yele Haiti.

Scarlett Johansson is chosen once again to appear in Mango’s ad campaign for this spring/summer 2010. New York city was the location of the shoot by photographer Mario Sorrenti and styled by Damián Sánchez, the Creative Director of Mango.

I have to admit i was a bit surprised by the collaboration photo-shoot with Sean Combs and Natalia Vodianova for this photoshoot. I loved the classic look minus the bling and extravagance that you would expect from Mr. Combs aka “DIDDY”. Sean wears classic mens cut suits and the editorial captures scenes that remind us of classic romanticism in a war time era. They both look amazing and Sean Combs never fails to impress me.

On Monday 7th December Virgin Galactic unveiled SpaceShipTwo to the world at Mojave Spaceport, California. 800 press, future astronauts and VIP guests gathered in the desert for a press conference and to view the roll out of the world’s first commercial spaceline.

Sir Richard Branson and Burt Rutan led the press conference, special recognition went to the team at Scaled Composites whose hard work and dedication have made this happen. Governors Bill Richardson and Arnold Schwarzenegger both contributed at the press conference, celebrating this huge milestone and also joining Holly, Richard’s daughter in naming the spaceship, VSS Enterprise.

Despite gale force winds and stormy weather, guests gathered on the runway after the press conference to see SpaceShipTwo for the first time. The spaceship was carried down the runway by her mothership, VMS Eve, to a spectacular display of lights, music and snow which only helped increase the anticipation of her arrival and excitement and awe as she appeared before the crowds.

People magazine named Johnny Depp  the “Sexiest Man Alive”.

Depp pushed Jackman aside to get the coveted endorsement from People magazine for the second time, the first being back in 2003.

Kate Coyne, senior editor at People, said on CBS’ Early Show that Depp has achieved an almost “iconic status in terms of sexiness.”

Says Coyne: “Johnny Depp was someone who was sexy 10 years ago. He’ll be sexy 10 years from now. He’s someone who appeals to multiple generations of women.”

Claudia Schiffer after lending her image to fashion for more than two decades announces that she is ready to create her own fashion label.

The 39-year-old-German born model on Tuesday said she was looking to give her life a new direction and was on the lookout for partners to back the launch of her brand.

Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud spent $485 million on the custom Airbus A380, with interior and amenities designed by British firm Design Q.

The plane usually seats 600, but lots of room had to be cleared for various perks. Naturally, there’s an on-board garage, so that the prince can be driven right to the threshold of of the airplane’s elevator. After arrival, he can retire to his master suite–one of five with king-size beds, and computer generated prayer mats which always face Mecca (one must always be humble); up to 20 extra-guests have to make due in sleepers that are the equivalent of first class.

But the real insanity begins elsewhere on the plane’s three floors: There’s a concert hall that seats ten and has a baby grand piano; a boardroom with a holographic projector; and a full-size steamroom. The most entertaining perk is a “Wellbeing Room” which has a floor upon which is projected an enormous image of what the plane is flying over–thus creating a “magic carpet” effect.

Your not rich or wealthy unless you can buy a country like Forbes 400 members!!  CIA Fact Book reveals that most Forbes 400 members have wealth that is greater than many countries. Bill Gates, for instance can buy Costa Rica, El Salvador, Bolivia and Uruguay among the 140 countries that have less GDP than his net worth of $50 billion.

Warren Buffet can grab North Korea, New York’s Mayor Michael Bloomberg ca buy Zambia, and countries like Haiti, Belize, Montenegro, Barbados can be bought by many of the 400 billionaires mentioned in the Forbes list. If you truly want to call yourself rich, you must start thinking about being in the 400 member list of Forbes so that you could technically buy a country of your own, though it’s practically not possible. If you can’t afford a country, you should at least aim for the $2.2 billion resort for the world’s richest citizens.
